Jeremiah is brought by the Lord to a potter's house. There he sees a potter working on a potter's wheel with clay on the top. As Jeremiah was watching, the clay was marred upon the wheel. Instead of throwing the clay away, the potter remade the vessel into something that was good for the potter.
