This is message 73 in the Gospel Record of Luke Series.
If Pilate had released Jesus, he would have been hailed in history as a hero. Pilate placed the choice to the people in an attempt to spare Jesus' life from the Sanhedrin. Why did the people choose Barabbas? To choose Jesus was to choose someone who would be in charge. To choose Jesus was to lose power and control.
