Through this Psalm, the psalmist recalls the persecution he faced. After all the psalmist has gone through, a choice develops, does he let the people afflicting him get the victory and cause him to lose his testimony, love for God’s word, and peace, or does he keep his eyes upon the Lord? He concludes the battle with this statement: “Great peace have they which love thy law.”
