We are created to please God. Faith pleases God. Faith is "looking unto Jesus". Faith comes by the Word of God.
God will not stand by and watch His children destroy themselves. He loves us too much to do that.

We do not serve the Lord in order to recieve His mercy; we serve the Lord because of His mercy to us.
